Until Sunset

Until Sunset follows Shelley through different ages of her life, tracing the everyday gestures, departures and connections that give it meaning. At its heart is her bond with Betty—and a meeting by the sea that opens onto something far larger than either of them.

An intimate science-fiction short about memory, connection and the fragile shape of a lifetime.

How we made it

Recurring character and location references helped maintain a coherent visual world as Shelley appears at different ages. AI-generated imagery was shaped through creative direction and iteration around the story.

Editing and colour work brought the material together, shaping its rhythm and visual atmosphere. The process combined generative tools with deliberate choices about framing and how each moment connects to the next.
